I have joined a Chinese Whispers CJ on the Scrapagogo Forum. The idea is we all find a LO to 'lift' and create our own LO which we pass on to the next person to 'lift' and so on. It is a great idea as unlike a normal CJ we get to keep our LO's and no postage costs.
There are 2 teams of 10 people and I am in both with a monthly posting date so this means for the next 10 months I have to create at least 2 LO's a month!
My team 1 LO is Xmas Ball. Other than the letters everything was from the December Scrapagogo kit. I want to use gogo kits for all the LO's and as the kit arrives half way through the month I have started off one using the December kit and the other using the January kit so I can do one of the LO's earlier in the month.
The LO I based this on is this lovely one by Sam Ball one of the Gogo DT girls. Thanks Sam.
I will post my team 2 LO's tomorrow!

Catching Up
Here are the layouts I did a couple of months ago at the November crop but forgot to post on here. All the photos are from our trip to Florida last October.

Blueprint To Go...again!
My gorgeous January scrapagogo kit arrived this morning and I couldn't wait to play with it. I am loving the new Blueprint To Go that Scrapagogo have on their club house (which is open to non subscribers!) so I decided to use it again. I thought a paper layout with the sketch turned through 90 degrees would make it different enough that it wasn't obvious I had used the same starting point.

Something different
Scrapagogo have started a new monthly sketch and I decided to use that together with the hybrids they produce to see if I could produce a digital layout and this is the result.
As the main purpose of the hybrids is to print and cut out the elements to add to traditional paper supplies there aren't any background papers. So I created my own papers (the tan background and the green photo mounts) using the colour scheme provided with the sketch. All the other elements except the brads are from the gogo hybrids created by Kirsty Wiseman over the last 2 or 3 months. The brads are part of a set by Carina Gardiner.
If you can't guess photos were taken on my daughters 18th birthday!

December Crop continued
Here are the rest of the layouts I did at the December crop. The double layout is photos taken at Universal Studios of some of the props for the Halloween Horror night. We went to the horror night
but I didn't get any good photos - too scary to stop and take pictures!
The other layout was a quick one put together at the end of the crop. The photos are some of the many taken at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal.

December Crop
Ok I am a little behind as we have had the local January crop already but here are a couple of layouts I did in December. The first one is using a picture of my daughters bedroom wall, covered in layouts we did during the summer holidays in 2009 to decorate her room.
As usual the majority of the supplies are from Scrapagogo kits, probably Sept, Oct and Nov last year.
The second layout is from our holiday to Florida last October. We went to see the band The Script at the House of Blues in Downtown Disney. The last concert we went to in the US they wouldn't allow cameras so I didn't try and take mine this time so of course they were allowed! I took a couple of pictures on my phone but the conditions weren't great! The flowers are some handmade ones I found in a shop in Orlando.
