I'm on a roll at the minute.  Just completed another layout with photos from last Friday.  I found this piece of Hambly Screen Print I got in a gogo kit about a year ago and have never used because it was 'too nice'.  Decided it was time it came out and was used but didn't want to do too much with it so a very simple layout was born.

Sorry photo isn't great - not easy to get the 'print' to show up evenly.

Road Test

I recently signed up to road test the 3L Scrapbook Adhesive EZ Runner.  I have to say I love my herma so was a little sceptical of this one at first.  However recently I have taken to using double sided tape more often as the herma is failing on some of my older layouts and I was completely won over by this one.

We were given a list of questions to answer so here goes:-

1.  How often do you use adhesive? Every week.

2. What is the main type of adhesive you use?  A mixture of Herma, Double Sided and Anita's Tacky Glue.

3.  What do you look for in an adhesive?  Easy to use and does the job!

4. How easy is the product to remove from its packaging? Very - it has a nice perforated bit on the cardboard to make it easy.

5. Does the product appeat to you - ie does it look good? Looks ok but I'm not that bothered about the look of adhesive.

6. How easy is the product to use?  Very very easy.

7. How well does the product perform?  Extremely well.  Allows a little manipulation before pressing down firmly and then it sticks very well.

8. Do you like this product?  Yes I love it!

9. Do you consider it good value for money? This is the only problem for me I think £4.99 is expensive for 10m of tape.

10. Would you consider buying this product in the future?  Yes but how much depends on the price. 

11. What would make you more likely to buy this product in the future?  A cheaper way of buying it eg multipacks.  If it wasn't so expensive I would use it all the time but at this price I think I will save it for when I am in a hurry!

12. What would make you less likely to buy this product in the future?  Just the cost really.

Rennes

Yesterday we went to France on a day trip, Graeme, me, Katherine and her bf.  So in what must be record time for me I have done a layout.  Used K & Co paper and tags from March scrapagogo kit and based in on this weeks sketch on the Triple the Sketch blog.

Twin Peaks

Using this weeks UKS weekly challenge as inpiration and a piece of scenic route card stock I've had a while I came up with this layout.  The photos were taken in San Francisco last year from the top of Twin Peaks whilst on a bus tour.

The chipboard buttons are from a team swap we did.

Saturday's Crop

I went to our local crop on Saturday and managed 2 dlo's both using papers from a scrap-room kit.

I am trying to finish all my photos from our California trip last year and have worked out there are only a few layouts left to do.  Kept these ones simple just to get them scrapped.

 

Garden Grill

I finally finished off this layout I started at the crop a couple of weeks ago.  It is done using a kit from Cleo who you will see in my scrap camp photo further down as she was one of the teachers there.  Sorry the colours on the photo aren't great as I didn't want to wait till daylight to take the picture!

Anniversary Card

It's our wedding anniversary tomorrow so I needed to make a card.  Thanks Carol - your sketch challenge was just what I needed.  For some fab card ideas check out  Carol's blog. 

I used the papers etc from my February scrapagogo kit and cut out the 'Happy Anniversary' using my cricut.

Cards

Here are a couple of the cards I made last week that have now both been given - to my daughter who was 13 yesterday.

They were both done using my January gogo greetings kit.  The blue card copied from a design in the booklet so I can take no credit for that one.

Grand California Hotel

 

I finished this layout this afternoon having started it at yesterdays crop.  A fairly simple lo to include some photos of the hotel we stayed at in Disney - none of them great photos.  Used January's scrapagogo kit and the title is done on my cricut by cutting it in heavy card twice and then the red bazzill and sticking them all together to give a chipboard effect which you can't really see in the photo.  The journalling under the photo on the lhs says. 'Our hotel room as seen from California Adventure' - Yes we really were that close to the park in fact our room was above the world of disney shop in downtown disney.

Ski Trip

My scrapagogo card kit arrived on Friday and it inspired me to make 4 cards - I won't display them as not sure who will receive them yet!
