Twin Peaks

Using this weeks UKS weekly challenge as inpiration and a piece of scenic route card stock I've had a while I came up with this layout.  The photos were taken in San Francisco last year from the top of Twin Peaks whilst on a bus tour.

The chipboard buttons are from a team swap we did.

Saturday's Crop

I went to our local crop on Saturday and managed 2 dlo's both using papers from a scrap-room kit.

I am trying to finish all my photos from our California trip last year and have worked out there are only a few layouts left to do.  Kept these ones simple just to get them scrapped.

 

Garden Grill

I finally finished off this layout I started at the crop a couple of weeks ago.  It is done using a kit from Cleo who you will see in my scrap camp photo further down as she was one of the teachers there.  Sorry the colours on the photo aren't great as I didn't want to wait till daylight to take the picture!

Anniversary Card

It's our wedding anniversary tomorrow so I needed to make a card.  Thanks Carol - your sketch challenge was just what I needed.  For some fab card ideas check out  Carol's blog. 

I used the papers etc from my February scrapagogo kit and cut out the 'Happy Anniversary' using my cricut.

Cards

Here are a couple of the cards I made last week that have now both been given - to my daughter who was 13 yesterday.

They were both done using my January gogo greetings kit.  The blue card copied from a design in the booklet so I can take no credit for that one.

Grand California Hotel

 

I finished this layout this afternoon having started it at yesterdays crop.  A fairly simple lo to include some photos of the hotel we stayed at in Disney - none of them great photos.  Used January's scrapagogo kit and the title is done on my cricut by cutting it in heavy card twice and then the red bazzill and sticking them all together to give a chipboard effect which you can't really see in the photo.  The journalling under the photo on the lhs says. 'Our hotel room as seen from California Adventure' - Yes we really were that close to the park in fact our room was above the world of disney shop in downtown disney.

Ski Trip

My scrapagogo card kit arrived on Friday and it inspired me to make 4 cards - I won't display them as not sure who will receive them yet!

Electrical Parade

This is done using January's scrapagogo kit.  I used the gogo sketch challenge as inpiration.  The papers and embellishments are the MM noteworthy range - love it.

January Crop

Here are a couple of lo's done at the January crop. 

The Nepenthe one is very simple using the cricut for  the title and the gorgeous chipboard swirl - loved the photo so didn't want to do too much with it.

Thanks to Sue for the scrapcamp photos - her spares which I thought I would scrap straight away so I didn't lose them.

The papers for both are some old scrap room kits.

Wreath

A Christmas wreath made with boxes using the cricut.

Sue (Liberty) found this idea on Leah Fungs'  blog (http://leahfung.typepad.com) and passed it on.  As I had the right cartridge we got together one evening with Joanne to give it a go.
